Class 1

A Closer Look at The Winter Blues
Develop a better understanding of the winter blues, who it affects, and what causes symptoms.

  • Knowledge is power: Understanding symptoms is the first step to effective management. This class will utilize scholarly resources to provide information about the disorder.

  • Develop a stronger sense of community: Cold weather often means shorter days and fewer socialization opportunities. This class will provide the opportunity to meet others who share similar struggles during the colder months.

  • Be heard in your experience and hear the experiences of others: The discussion portion of this class allows participants to share information about their experience with the disorder and coping mechanisms that have worked for them!
