Position overview:
Clinical therapist provides outpatient individual psychotherapy to adult clients of Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy. Clinical therapist will hold in-person sessions at the office of Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy as well as teletherapy sessions in the office or remotely.

  • Requirements & Responsibilities

    Qualifications and Skills Requirements
    ✔️ Must align with Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy mission, vision, and values
    ✔️ Master'sMaster's degree in social work (MSW) or related field.
    ✔️ Active, unrestricted license (LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPC) in the State of WV
    ✔️ Ability to complete at least 22 patient sessions per week (8 sessions per week for part-time), provided such sessions are available and scheduled by Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy
    ✔️ Be organized and detail-oriented
    ✔️ Must be punctual in reporting to work and client sessions
    ✔️ Be able to work independently on tasks assigned
    ✔️ Have strong written and verbal communication skills
    ✔️ Have strong interpersonal skills

    Duties/responsibilities include
    ✔️ Providing psychotherapy to clients of Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy as scheduled and in accordance with practice policies.
    ✔️ Being punctual and reliable in attendance to all to client sessions and staff meetings, and group consultation meetings.
    ✔️ Maintaining proper licensure in the state of West Virginia.
    ✔️ Maintaining liability insurance.
    ✔️ Abiding by all laws, practice policies, and codes of ethics that are applicable to the services provided for Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy.
    ✔️ Responding to clients' calls/ texts/ emails within 24 hours.
    ✔️ Communicating and coordinating care with external providers (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as needed.
    ✔️ Completing all documentation for each client, including, but not limited to, intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contact notes, and other forms or documents within 48 hours of the service or client contact.
    ✔️ Collecting payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy.
    ✔️ Attending trainings as directed by supervisor.
    ✔️ Providing psychotherapy services in a professional manner to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Thomas Integrative Psychotherapy.
    ✔️ Being respectful of and collaborating with co-workers.
